For those of you who read my blog, you’ll know I’m away in Missouri visiting family. I’m currently waiting for Jay to finish having his massage, so while I’m waiting, I thought I’d do a brief post about what books I’ve bought (and read) whilst away in the USA.
What I’ve Read
Books I’ve Bought
I discovered a bookshop in Branson, MO, called Books-A-Million. It was literally yhe biggest bookshop I’ve ever been in. I only came out with 3 books, conscientiously thinking about the luggage weight limit on our flight home. Otherwise I woukd have blown all my spends in there.
Orange is the New Black, Piper Kerman
I loved the TV series and, whilst in America, I spotted the original book on a shelf. Although priced at a rather steep $15, I thought it was worth it!
To The Lighthouse
for my final year of university, I’ve chosen to write my dissertation on this novel by Virginia Woolf. Ive read it, but it was a copy I took out the library. I thought id brst buy my own copy!!
Piano Classical Music, Book II.
I’ve played the piano since the age of five, and I had the Piano Classics, Volume I edition, but when I found this copy, I had to buy it.
